For the first time in my life, our family lit the menorah together at home for all eight nights of Chanukah. In this time of dark winter and the inner wisdom of the ancient ones, it is so very comforting to be honoring our Ukrainian Jewish lineage together – calling and remembering all those ancestors, back to the original ones – lighting candles of hope, miracles, doorways, learning, choice, will, release and transcendence. So grateful for this opportunity to look into the light of the candles and pray for peace, in every corner for every being. For our Father. For Palestine. For Israel. For Syria, Ukraine, the United States, Russia, Haiti, Congo, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan....
These 8 MEDITATIONS FOR THE 8 NIGHTS OF CHANUKAH guided us through lighting the menorah, which was a profound journey for us all.
So grateful for all the love and support of extended family, dearest friends and everyone who has been writing living tributes, sending prayers and singing the songs that bind us together with peace as the song in our hearts.
Peter is very weak physically, but his spirit is strong and his light is growing brighter every day. We won't let the light go out! We love you Peter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
